Betty's List makes it easy to find out about important events, services and products for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) community of the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Our messages have provided highly valued news and information to thousands of our list subscribers.
The Betty's List e-mail service was originally created in 1996 by Dr. Betty L. Sullivan as a means to announce activities and events to her personal contacts. As she became increasingly involved in the Bay Area’s LGBT community, Betty’s list evolved. Many who Betty met in a variety of contexts over the years requested information and to be added to the "Big List" maintained by Betty’s company, Sullivan Communications, Inc.
