Just like you, we began looking for a kit to purchase and put together. We had our eye on a Cobra replica. We researched every company and found one offering a dealers discount if three kits were purchased. We began to think about how much fun it would be to build three Cobra replicas. After becoming a certified builder/dealer for various manufactures we decided to spread our wings and start our very own replica manufacturing company.
Miles of notes were taken of our experiences with each manufacture. We noted our likes and dislikes to make for a foundation in which to build our company upon. We took consideration of every detail from ordering, kit build, finish product, to after sale customer service.
In 1997, six years later it was quickly becoming apparent that a larger facility was necessary! In six years Lone Star had exceeded the sales of most of its competitors backed by an impeccable customer service record.
In early 1998 construction of Lone Star’s new home broke ground seven miles from which it began. This new facility more than quadrupled the previous building. In 1999 upon receiving the AHA or Association of HandcraftedAutomobiles award for Best Manufacturing Practiceproduction demands increased.
A second story was added for inventory to make it possible for a customer to receive their kit with in weeks of ordering. LSC is proud to report that we still have the shortest lead time.
The entire LSC Team is excited as we enter 2005 with the new LS40 & Panther kitsin full production. Our engineers have spent over four years developing the LS40 & Panther making them the most tested and well thought out replicas ever to be offered.
Considering the increasing popularity and diverseness surrounding Lone Star’s body styles secures a long, successful future as the authority in hand crafted automobiles.
The Lone Star Classics Team looks forward to helping you materialize your long lived dream into a reality where the best years of your life can be found!
We are always more than happy to do whatever we possible can to make your purchasing & build up experience enjoyable. We feel that you’re not simply investing your money in our products, but you are also investing your time and interests in fulfilling a life long dream. Because we have a well experienced staff that is not only eager to help you build your car, but also in building a friendship with you as well. We know all of our customers personally, and guarantee to always do whatever we can to keep you well informed, and to provide timely affordable service for all or your kits needs.
Saturday tours and factory visits are by appointment only during the months of September, October, & November due to the many car show events the LSC Team participates in. Please call us prior to your visit to make sure someone will be at our facility that can give you a tour and answer all of your kit related questions.
