Tiger Racing, manufactures seven models of road and race cars, was formed back in 1989. We are one of the major manufactures, and can supply base chassis through to complete kits and, in fact, were one of the first to introduce "comprehensive" kits into the industry.
Tiger is a family company and prides itself on its back up once the customer has purchased anything from the chassis all the way to the turn-key car. At Tiger we have many more facilities on site than most in the kit industry and with these in place can give a great service. Our facilities include two engineering shops, sales/show area, paint department, petrol station, MOT garage, trimming shop, and an impressive parts department. Alongside these excellent facilities Tiger has UK and international agents helping with all aspects of Tiger and ERA promotion and sales.
Trademarks
At Tiger we owns many trademarks on our products, these include the Z100WR and of course the ERA (English Racing Automobiles) trademark. We currently have two cars using the historic ERA name, namely the fantastic ERA single seater which enjoys some exciting and close racing with the BARC, and the new ERA 30 road legal sports car. A brand new ERA single seater is £22,995 including VAT.
Racing
From 2005 we are once again joining up with the BARC with a new Tiger class competing in the Southern Saloon and Sportscars, and continuing with the ERA class in the Single Seater series. We can supply race cars for these series and we can also supply cars for "hire drive" (pay a fee and just turn up and race either a Tiger or ERA and not own the car).
Purchasing a Tiger is easy and you can do it in many ways from purchasing a base chassis and add to this as you go along, or maybe chassis/body unit or a complete comprehensive kit. Most kits are available between 4 and 6 weeks or order. The final purchase option is a factory built Tiger or ERA. Factory built cars are usually available 4 months after ordering.
Tiger prides itself that it can not be beaten on prices or service. So do your homework and compare with the kits and chassis of other manufactures - we think you will find Tiger is outstanding value for money with one of the best handling cars in the market place. Tiger have also established very reasonable used car values over the last 14 years, this point worth remembering when purchasing from new recent companies.
As seen on TV
Tiger sportscars have been featured in many TV programmes, including ITV's"U Bet", "Don't try this at home" and "Pulling Power". BBC's"Top gear with Vicky Butler Henderson driving the Z100", Channel 5s "5th Gear with Tiff Needell driving a Z100 to the worlds fastest 0-60 mph time of 2.8secs.". In 2004 Nigel Greensall (Driver of one of the TVR's at the 2004 Le Mans 24 hour) did a race in the ERA and reported "what a great little car". Luke Stevens, the 2004 Caterham champion, also raced a ERA in 2004 and thought the car "really great"

During 2005 Tiger has a dedicated sales team that is checking EVERY manufactures pricing and reporting each month so that Tiger adjusts and keeps "on the ball" with excellent value for money sportscars and kits backing this with a family business that has excellent backup and great facilities, don't just take our word for it do some homework ask owners, check out the owners club, check and com pare "what you get" in other base and upgrade kits then take a look at Tigers. Better still come and see us we have an open door policy and you can pop in any day of the week 9.00am to 5.30pm and Saturdays 10.00am to 3.00pm.
