Auto Mobile Diagnostics was started in 1979 as a “mobile” automotive diagnostics and repair service. In 1984 we established an automotive repair facility on the corner of Washington Street and National Road in Columbus, Indiana. After losing the original building to fire in 1985, the current facility was constructed.
Until 1999, Auto Mobile Diagnostics provided premium automotive diagnostics and repair, both at our shop and on location as a “mobile” service. As automotive technology evolved the value of a “mobile” service diminished. In 2000, the “mobile” segment of our business was discontinued.
Todays automobiles are more reliable, and breakdowns are less common when the vehicle is properly maintained. Auto Mobile Diagnostics is informed and making some adjustments to meet the needs of today’s automobiles and customers.
The first adjustment is our name. We now are Automobile Diagnostics, Automotive maintenance and repair.

As part of the maintenance services we are offering an annual maintenance program. Our goal is to maintain our customers’ vehicles, with scheduled and preventative maintenance programs, while maintaining manufacturers’ warranties.
Our concern for customer satisfaction, exceptional customer service, and long term customer relationships will remain our primary goal. Our mission is still “To satisfy customer’s automotive needs promptly, professionally, courteously and to THEIR satisfaction.”
