We want to thank you for visiting our site Ames Performance Engineering sells only Pontiac parts and is in its twenty-ninth year of supplying enthusiasts worldwide. During this time we have established a reputation among our customers for prompt service and the finest quality available. This attention to quality is especially evident in our reproduction items, many more of which are now being made in our own shop. As in the past we will critique our products in order to inform our customers of the quality of each reproduction.
Both phone and mailorders will be processed and shipped within 24 hours, except during shows or in backorder situations. Our large in-house inventory allowed us to ship 98% of all orders within that deadline.
Therefore, if an order is called in to us by 10 a.m. Monday, it should be in your hands by Tuesday if you live in eastern New York and New England (except Northern Maine). You'll have it Wednesday in New Jersey, Eastern New York and parts of Delaware and Maryland. On Thursday your order should be delivered to most of North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Western New York. All other continental sections of the country should receive their orders by Friday or the following Monday. (The above service is dependent on typical UPS shipping schedules.)
All parts are sold with a satisfaction guaranteed policy. Please examine your order immediately. All shortages, incorrect items, and damages should be reported as soon as possible. To return an item to us, please contact us for instructions. If Ames is responsible for the incorrect shipment we will reimburse the customer for his return shipping charges. Under no circumstances will Ames pay for additional charges incurred by using packaging services, air shipping or accept COD shipments. For your protection, send the package by UPS or insured Parcel Post, saving the receipt until you hear from us. If the package was damaged in shipment, save the merchandise and packaging. Notify the carrier immediately for instructions.
