A relatively new company in the performance transmission and torque converter industry, BTE enters its fifth year of existence in 2003. An extension of the already existing mail order company Memphis Performance, BTE strives to reflect this youth in our willingness and ability to stay on the leading edge of the industry. Remaining on this frontier is achieved by providing the best customer service, quality, and prices available.
BTE’s 40,000 square foot manufacturing and warehousing facility located within the Memphis metropolitan area houses the latest CNC equipment and logistics technology to aide in efficiency and quality. The central geographic location of our area ensures quick delivery of ordered products.
Look for the BTE Support Team at NHRA and IHRA national events. This new display transporter is a showcase of our products and our personnel. In addition, we offer at-the-track transmission service for powerglide transmissions to keep you in the race.
As much as BTE is a fresh company, it is also based on years of experience. Founded by Bill Taylor as a “second wind” entrepreneurship after a ten year non-compete agreement, BTE’s staff is comprised of seasoned professionals who also share this vision for a new way of doing business.
