APTEC is a subsidiary of Poeton Industries Ltd., and a sister company to Maxpower Inc. of Madison, W.I., U.S.A.. The cylinder reconditioning process that APTEC employs differs greatly from similar services offered by competitors.The competitions' process evolved from the shiny chrome business that hasn't changed since the turn of the century. The APTEC process uses a proprietary formulation of ceramic composite named APTICOTE 2000 which originated in aerospace and is proven in Indy car and F-1 racing.
