The FVEAA was formed in 1975 (around the time of the first oil embargo) and was incorporated in the State of Illinois in 1979. We became a chapter of the EAA (Electric Auto Association) in 2004.
We promote efficient and clean electric vehicle use and educate the public on these issues. We help our members to convert vehicles to electric power.
