S&K Toy Trucks was created in 2000 by Bishop Steve and Kathy Pegram from the idea to create a website providing collectors with the information on available models. Starting with several hundred pictures from his personal collection, Steve launched www.sktoytrucks.com on October 25, 2000. Once collectors were aware of its presence, they too provided pictures and information of available models and the website flourished. At approximately the same time the forum "Toy Truck Talk" was formed as an extension of the S&K website to improve communication among collectors. Now these forums see daily use from its membership of nearly 1300! (These forums may be reached from the menu above)
In June of 2007 the S&K Toy Trucks website and forums were acquired by Jaydeez, Inc. of Payette, ID. Jaydeez also owns Jaydeez Scale Models and a retail location in Ontario, OR. The website and forums are to be given a facelift and should be fully functional soon.
