EMTA Corporation acquired the assets and intellectual property of Alaco, Inc. in September 2004. Simultaneously, the fourth generation of its advanced metal conditioner was introduced and EMTA began marketing this product under the name XenTx® on September 1, 2004. The company's corporate offices are located in Scottsdale, Arizona.

In 2001, XenTx® started a revolution in the metal treatment world by reducing detrimental by-products in the form of metals debris found in lubrication fluids and using them to recondition the load zone surfaces. XenTx® is an advanced extension of products that were produced and marketed by Alaco, Inc. and constitutes a refinement in chemistry and performance.
The current XenTx® product represents the fourth generation and most advanced metal conditioner on the market. XenTx® is used to reduce friction, corrosion and wear of metal surfaces being used in extreme conditions. XenTx has a broad spectrum of applications and can be used as an additive in turbine, diesel, gasoline, and two-cycle engines, transmissions and differentials. As a raw material it is used in various lubricating products and applications for industrial equipment, bio-diesel fuel and machine cutting tools. Customers continue to find new applications for XenTx® and its derivatives.

In the past XenTx® has been known under several names based on the industry it is utilized in and the customer who marketed the product. Earlier generations of XenTx® have also typically been known as Zero-F, RF-10, and other OEM private label agreements. XenTx® is a 4th Generation product and the absolute latest in lubrication technology.

The marketing thrust of Xentx is three pronged and includes retail, commercial and industrial channels. The retail channel is focused on distribution of XenTx® to consumers for use in autos, trucks, RV's, boats, motorcycles and other small engine equipment found in the average household, or small business. The commercial channel is focused on bulk users such as long haul truck fleets, stationary diesel engines, other heavy duty on-road and off-road vehicles. The third channel is industrial and includes , mining operations, railroads, manufacturing plants, the oil production and refinement industries that use XenTx® as a raw material in products they produce. This would include OEM packaging, producers of various lubricating products, bio-diesel production, treatment of down hole pipe in the oil industry and as a coolant for industrial cutting tools.

EMTA's goal is to provide a wide range of products to the retail consumer, commercial and industrial markets that are tested and proven to provide the benefits as advertised. We seek to be an industry leader in each product category in which we compete.
