DaimlerChrysler: Mercedes Car Group creates easy paragraph plus in July

The autofarmer DaimlerChrysler fared in July in Germany somewhat better than the remainder of the market. While the passenger car paragraph had decreased/gone back in Germany around altogether three per cent on 257.000 new vehicles, the autofarmer with its most important section Mercedes Car Group (Mercedes, Smart, Maybach) created a paragraph plus from two per cent to 27.600 vehicles. This communicated DaimlerChrysler on Friday in Stuttgart. The enterprise profited however particularly from increases by the small car mark Smart. Here the paragraph climbed in July after long period of reduced circumstances by 38,8 per cent on 3.100 units. The Kernmarke Mercedes came on 24.500 sold vehicles, 1.3 per cent less than in the previous year month.
World-wide the enterprise increased the sales by 1,3 per cent on 103.700 vehicles. Mercedes came on a plus of 1,1 per cent (93.800), which revised Smart on an increase of 3,0 per cent (9.900).
For the first seven months among other things an easy turnover minus from 1,1 per cent resulted to 721.400 vehicles because of the model change in the case of smart for the entire section. Mercedes added 27.5 per cent by 1,7 per cent on 669.500 units, of the Smart in the comparison to the previous year with 51.900 driving courses was less sold.
