Market share of the US automakers on historical low

The common market share of the three heavyweights general of engine (GM) , Ford engine and Chrysler sank in July for the first time under 50 per cent. The market researchers by Autodata Corp. calculated for GM, Ford and Chrysler a market share of 48,1 per cent. One year ago it is to have been still 52 per cent, some decades ago the “large three” from Detroit the market had still dominated.
THE THIRSTY ONES ARE UNPOPULAR
The paragraph of GM fell by 18,5 per cent on 320.935 vehicles, Ford lost 19 per cent on 195,245 pieces. Also the German manufacturers DaimlerChrysler and Volkswagen suffered decreases in sale. With the natives of stuttgart the sales fell company-wide by 9 per cent on 156.314 vehicles. The paragraph of the mark Mercedes Benz decreased/went back even by 14 per cent on 18.856 pieces. Those soon Chrysler Group not belonging no more to the company set 8 per cent off less with 137.728 units and by Honda was overhauled.
The paragraph of the Volkswagen company sank by 13,1 per cent on 19.653 pieces. The daughter AUDI could obtain however a rise from 1,7 per cent to 7127 units.
The sports car farmer Porsche increased the paragraph in North America by 2 per cent to 3414 vehicles. While the sales shot upward with the Cayenne by 31 per cent at 1245 pieces, by the boxing he series with 1086 vehicles eleven per cent were sold less than one year before. The paragraph of the series 911 sank by 6 per cent on 1083 pieces.
BMW developed in July to the “salesman of the monthly”. The residents of Munich set company-wide with 28.364 vehicles 20.1 per cent off more than in July 2006. By the mark BMW were more sold with 24.295 vehicles 21 per cent. Cars of the mark MINI were set off 4069 times, that were 15.3 per cent more than in July 2006
